I started in dogs when Working and Herding were one Group. Started with Mastiffs and got interested in Whippets while attending a Lure Coursing event with Ralph Pikop (then President of Kachina Kennel Club and a licensed Lure Judge). After I got my Whippet my daughter Amber got one for Jr. Showmanship. Then my wife Pam took over the breed. I'm looking for a Terrier now.
Pam and I have 2 daughters. Both were VERY successful Jr. Handlers and Conformation Handlers. One is a licensed AKC Junior Showmanship Judge. We have been actively showing dogs since 1979. We have bred and owned Top Ranked Dogs in a couple of different Groups. Pam has Handled the #1 Dog in a number of different breeds.
We have bred about 20 different litters and have produced probably over 50 champions. We were licensed Aus. Shep. Judges before they were AKC recognized.
We started the Rocky Mountain Mastiff Fanciers with Bob and Barbra Webb. Were active members of Kachina Kennel Club including Show Chairman for 6 years when the entries were between 2500 - 2900+. It was a great deal of fun and excitement.
We have owned boarding and grooming shops. And were members of P.H.A. for a number of years.
I have written Kennel Managment Software and this website is my latest undertaking in the "Dog World" with my Good Friends Ken and Connie Williams. We hope to bring a the community together to do great things for Dogs. |
